Hotel Hotel Walter

Overlooking the Baranci Mountains, Hotel Walter offers traditional, carpeted rooms with flat-screen TV and private bathroom. It lies just outside San Candido, in the Northern Dolomites. The Walter features a wood-panelled bar and restaurant, where a breakfast buffet is served daily. Lunch and dinner are prepared from local seasonal ingredients. This family-run hotel is owned by a cross-country ski instructor who runs a ski school in the winter. There are 200 metres of cross-country runs behind the hotel, and alpine slopes on nearby Mount Thurntaler. The Walter is a 3-minute walk from San Candido Train Station, with connections to Fortezza and Salzburg. Buses to Cortina and Bolzano stop 100 metres from the hotel. The hotel provides free parking.
